I am pretty sure this is a 6.3 problem as it has only surfaced since the download. I have always had a problem with CBS HD programming (OTA) but was able to bypass it with the old software. The problem was that when I scheduled the HD stuff on antenna channel 2-1 it would default to the sat channel, channel 2. The solution was simply to take channel 2 off the channels I receive list. No problem there. Everything recorded on 2-1. Now I can't get that to work. Even with channel 2 off the channels list my recordings are still coming in on channel 2 and not 2-1. I can't force them to record on 2-1. This doesn't appear to be a problem on any of the other networks. I would like a solution to this as I watch quite a bit of CBS programming and I want it in HD. Ideas?

How are you scheduling and setting up these recordings? Season Passes are channel-specific, so it should only record from whatever channel you specify. And HDTV channel 2-1 is not consider the same as SD channel 2.

Have you tried a re-boot? Many times that fixes all kinds of different problems.

I am trying to set them up as channel 2-1. Interestingly enough, when I look at what's coming up in the season pass, the list will say three episodes, even though, when you go to look at them, there are six (the three HD and the three SD). I don't have any problem with any other network, either.
Here is an example of what is happening. I have a season pass for Numb3rs. When I look at upcoming episodes, the one on channel 2 is checked. When I cancel it and schedule the one on 2-1, when it is finished, the one on channel 2 is still checked, but not the one on 2-1 which I just scheduled. Make sense? I wonder if this is something local -- I live in Boise if that matters. As I said, I tried to uncheck channel 2 in my channel list but when I check the to-do list the channel 2 episode is the one scheduled. This has me shaking my head.

Yes, I tried a re-boot.

Delete the season pass and reschedule it (making sure it's for 2-1, of course) The good news is you can do that pretty fast with 6.3.

I tried that.

Just discovered a little added weirdness. I just now tried to record CSI:NY on the HD channel. The little blue "just a minute" thingie flashed but nothing else happened.

I tried that.Did you actually delete the season pass. Just unchecking the single episode scheduled to record does not delete the season pass.

Yes, I deleted the season pass. Even after I deleted it the upcoming episodes still showed up in to do list. Deleted them, too. This seems to be a problem with my machine (an upgraded box I bought from Weaknees) as my son-in-law could not duplicate the problem.
Now, as to that problem I mentioned above about not being able to record CSI:NY while in progress -- that was the HD version. Later in the evening when I tried to record Late Night with Craig Ferguson, which apparently is not in HD, it recorded. Something weird is going on with my CBS HD stuff only.
