Dumb Question About Tivo and Wireless G

I was considering upgrading my old V1 tivo to the newer version 2 and including the wireless G unit they have. My question is probably dumb but here goes...

Does having the wireless G unit mean that I can watch whatever is on my tivo from any PC or laptop that is also on the network? If Yes - do I need to buy additional hardware or software for my pc's?

It means you can transfer recordings from the TiVo to the PC and then watch them there. The transfer process is slow, much slower than MRV between TiVos so you won't be watching while transferring, at least not right away.

You will need TiVo Desktop software (as a minimum) for your PC to manage the transfers and allow playback in WMP.
