Hoping someone can help - PTVupgrade has not responded yet. I have downloaded and burned the CD's using Roxio - however does Instant Cake use byteswapping (vmlnodma hdc=bswap) to install their software on the DSR6000? I have burned three hard drives ranging form 80 gb, to 160 Gb to 250 Gb and not one has worked - stuck in powering up screen.

I have run copykern using their software as well.

Is there a trick I am missing - chose Option E to expand the drive, use large swap file, Single Drive solution, etc. with the DSR6000 software (yes, I have the correct version of the software for my system).

I am using WesterDigital drives - do they need to be formtted or qunlock before I use the software

Do I need to run vmlnodam prior to running instantcake, and if so how do I do that as each CD is an ISO autrun image with boot files that prevent booting of another CD or application?

Thanks!
