I have a DSR-704 running in my living room. Just got another receiver installed and also int'l programming added (new dish install, etc etc). Now it takes my DSR-704 30-60sec. to change the channel after using the remote and also all the other receiver functions (tv volume, power all work fine) run just as slow.

anyone have an issue like this? anyone with any ideas?

What is the new receiver? It's possible that with International programming and the second dish that the multiswitch is taking longer to make the proper connection. However, it shouldn't be that long. I'd call DirecTv and have them check it out.
