Hi,
When, for instance, I program "Scrubs" into my season pass, it always chooses the earliest time the program appears, say during the afternoon.
Unfortunately my son is most likely to change sky channels at that time so I will end up watching childrens hour!
Is there a quick way to program the Tivo to record the episodes that occur later at night?
Thanks

Lock away the SKy remote - the Sky box belongs to the TiVo now, not to your son

The actual answer is no, not automatically. It will always try to get the first showing. Other than that, I can only echo what BL said above. I haven't used my Telewest remote to watch "Live TV" in years; since I got my Tivo in fact :D

Set an SP for whatever your son watches. Then it will be available for him and the Scrubs recording will bounce to a later one.

What he said. I knew I'd missed an important point off my post :(

Thanks for the advice guys.
Re. locking the SKY remote away...I would love to but unforunately the Tivo is incredibly slow at changing the SKY channels!
Thanks again.

Try different codes from what I remember most Sky boxes use the Grundig code which tends to be quick at changing channels. Changing it yourself with the Sky remote could cause you no end of problems.

Why are you using any remote to change channels? You're not watching Live TV are you? :D
Try setting the TiVo up to record everything you and your son watch - then you can join the TiVolution and forget about Live TV and channel hopping for ever :)
