Just got new TV - Peanut won't turn on/off

Hi,

I've just got a new TV from Asda. It is a 'Dual DLCD3221' 32" LCD.

The volume and mute buttons on my peanut are working OK, but I am having problems getting it to turn the TV off.

I have gone through the remote code '0999' and worked through the process, and it turned my TV off, so I saved the code, but then it didn't work again :( - It only seems to work during the remote control setup, but then not again after....

Anyone any ideas ?

If you turn your TV on/off with it's remote and then try again with the peanut does it work?
Some remote controls send 2 alternate codes for the same function which makes them impractical for learning and preprogrammed universal remotes - For example my Philips projector needs 2 power off commands to actually power off and they are different codes from 2 presses of the same button.
