Hi everyone,

I have a very big problem. The wife's shows are not recording. There is no conflict with the show and I have season passes to them. It shows all of the episodes of the shows, it just isn't recording them. They are all new shows. Other season passes (some lower ranked) are also recording. In particular, "What not to wear" and "Americas Next top Model" have not been recording. I can manually set them to record, but this is not ideal. If anyone has any suggestion, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

You can go into the To Do List and it will tell you why the show did not record.

What does it say there?

America's Next Top Model recently changed networks.

This may require a new season pass.

I'm not familiar with the other show mentioned, but it's possible something similar happened.

Well you should allow the Tivo to change channels instead of saying no to it :p Those shows are not that bad, give it a try.

All jokes aside I can't help, sorry.

A couple of thoughts on What Not To Wear. During the day it runs in repeats and supposedly new ones on Friday nights so make sure you're set up for first run and repeats to record. Sometimes a repeat does run on Friday night. If you're not set to record repeats you wouldn't pick up Friday night airings if the guide data mislabled an episode as a repeat that wasn't.
Have you been getting any recordings of TLC shows that you never requested?
TLC loves to switch things around at the last minute.

It's obvious that your Tivo doesn't like your wife's taste and is taking liberties with your Season Passes. Try having her record "Pimp My Ride" and see if that helps. :-)

Do you have a Series 3?

any airing within a week of the original air date is seen as a first run by TiVo for just such a situation. It would get the first one it can get without conflict from a higher season pass.
Most likely culprit, as Gastrof points out, is that it changed channels as season passes are channel specific.

Your Tivo thinks you are gay.
