Saw a demo of this at the Streaming Media Europe Conference today - It was so good I was just drooling. Makes our Tivo interface seem so old :-(
Hard to describe but the main viewing area resizes depending on surrounding icons visible - to the top/bottom and left/right of the main pic pop in VoD channels, broadcast channels, scene selections and recommendations. Going further "off screen" brings extra stuff eg more scenes, more linked VoDs etc. Clicking a feed of another channel brings that channel in in split screen mode - the longer it's viewed or in that way the more screen space it takes and the audio shifts to it.
In the demo the Open TV guy watched a film and a related item was the video of a song in the film. Moving further into related items was a guest appearance of that artist on Letterman. Depending on provider/platform this could link up with YouTube tagged video clips for example.
It was just so gorgeous.
