Frozen screen/tivo still recording [Text View]

Not sure if this is the typical freeze. New (<30 days) S2 DT)

It was "frozen" with one of the menu screens (red one). But no text. Remote did nothing.

But it was still recording (on both tuners). Unplugged and rebooted with no problem, and it picked right up with recording.

Needless to say I'm 1) annoyed that it happened 2) worried it might happen again and 3) worried something might be wrong.

Ideas? What should I do?

Well unless it happens with regularity don't worry about it. Tivo's do occasionally lock up and need to be rebooted.

I have an S1 and I've had the same thing happen to me.

Thanks. First time it's happened to me. Never happened on my original S2.

Would you consider 3 times in the first month enough regularity to do something about it? I really don't want to lose my Tivo long enough to fix it...but if it's something that's going to happen a lot(And it may need a lot more fixing, should it ever lock up while recording Heroes again. :mad: )

Yeah, definately. That doesn't sound right.
