Alright so I am really excited about this. I am getting a second tivo (well my first personal Tivo for up at school) for a great price. CompUSA stores are clearing out D1 Products (Discontinued). One of these great products is a 80 hr ST Tivo. At a CompUSA store near my hometown it is $49.99 OTD. Tivo has the $150 rebate so after tax and 1 year service I am looking at having a 80 hr ST Tivo for one year for about $60. I am still considering doing 3 years prepaid instead, that is all up to negotiations with girlfriend and parents.

Tomorrow I will be driving 4 hrs round trip to see my parents and pick up my new Tivo at an awesome deal. I am so excited and gitty as I have been wanting a Tivo for a few months now since I have been in withdrawl from my parents Tivo back at home. Also I am getting the Tivo just in time to record Saturday's Gator Game against Auburn as I have a party to go to during the game and will be missing it.

Again CompUSA has clearance in store only. You can not check status online. Also when you call your store hit "0" to get to the operator. Otherwise you will get redirected to some call center in TX and they will tell you exactly what you see online.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe

Parents got a 2nd one for the bedroom so they have a free tivo esentially for almost 14 months before they will have to start paying 6.95/month. Of course I did not factor in the wireless adapter, but still super hot deal and went from 1 lifetime tivo in my family to 3 tivos (1 lifetime with upgraded HD and two 80 hrs).

This deal just got hotter! When I got hom I found out that there is a $30 CompUSA rebate as well so Tivo plus 1 years service is $28.89 A/R or Tivo and Three Years service for only $172.49. And my parents with MSD will have a box and 3 years service for only $123.69.

I am however getting them two Tivo wireless adapters from Amazon for $90 so some savings go out the window, but not a bad deal at all!
