I've got a humax dvd burner and a series 2. as of the past couple, constant resets between the both.

i can make the series2 reset every time i try to transfer a show from the humax to the series2.

the humax resets randomly and so does the series2 (in addition to when i perform transfers).

is there something going on here? if it was just one, i wouldn't be so concerned. the fact that both are going nuts at the same time leads me to believe it's the tivo service or firmware.

any suggestions?

It's most likely caused by the 7.3.1 software. It has major issues especially on Humax machines.

No

The stable way to use a network with TiVo is using their (TiVo) wireless adapters.

Its a solution that worked for me when I had network problems and I have 595, 540, 659 and 240 type TiVos all working together great. (I sold my other adapters on E-Bay (for computer use) so the cost difference was not great)

i don't remember which adapters i'm using now, but they were on the "tivo recommended" list at the time i bought them.

is it the consensus on here that the tivo brand adapters work better?
