Cant get tivo to recognize gateway box

Please help! box uses channels 6/7/13... if I tune tivo to one of these channels then I have to use my box remote to change channels.. if I just change channels with tivo the tv guide information comes up but the channel is not there..just a black screen... how can I get tivo to go through my gateway box...uses IR blaster no Serial port on back of gateway box..any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ~FRUSTRATED :confused: Box is provided by Next Level which was acquired by Motorola and I guess is a RG2200?

I have no idea what a gateway box is. But, you gave a litle more information in your other thread you started yesterday.

Connect the TiVo to the gateway box A/V out, and the IR blaster to the IR eye on the gateway box, and set up with Motorola cable codes.
