I thought the mission on this one was really good. I seem to enjoy the missions more when we get to watch the team scramble and adapt, as opposed to executing a planned out mission. The stuff happening back on base was, as always, kinda blah. Although I do like it when the unit members "take care of their own."
Now if we could just get them to go after the real estate con artist from last season...
If you like this show, I highly suggest reading "Inside Delta Force" by Eric Haney. I think Haney consults on the show.

I also liked the episode. One question maybe you can jog my brain. I saw Phil Hendrie was listed in the credits and found out he was "George" in this episode. Do you remember who George was?

Enjoyed this episode as well.
I liked how they got the info from the indonesian guy without asking him directly.

I like how they whooped the old people. Elders deserve repect, but they were despicable. I was glad when they got what they deserved.

Thanks -- now I remember. That was his voice!

Col Ryan is a jerk, but I'd expected at least a nod of approval that his auditor didn't make a clean getaway. While the daughter blabbed, the mom was all over it, using all the resources at her disposal to track the the guy down. If he'd been a real bad guy they'd have got credit for capturing him.

Why not just stop the train altogether if it's going so slow that it only took 10 feet to stop?

Good episode! At least now we know for sure Col Ryn's wife was shot in the back. I wondered that the first time they showed her putting on her bra, but didn't pay close enough attention at the time.
The Col really is a jerk, he does have a job to do and as a vet I understand it, but he could be a little bit more curteous to the families instead of making it harder on them. They might have his back if he was a little bit nice.
By the way, not sure how fast the train was going, but imagine it was going slower than it seemed in the show. I did have a moment of wondering if the train really did have enough room to stop.

is it pretty assured now that the party was on base? He said there was a breach and i can't imagine a breach would be a party at an off base club
The auditor should have played it better..man in car too trite. He should have been out walking and talked to the girl right in front of school then if mom came, said he was (make something legit up). By running, he outted himself. Staying would have disarmed mom
love the quick brakes on the train. And why not leave terrorist boy there under the train? oops did we forget him boss?
"i dont have a key to that room" great line. Your store and no key lol
and love the use of visa to break into that house. That woman was supposed to be 25? looked much older to me.

She could have been 25, she did look kinda homely.

I went to college with the guy who played the terrorist. When I saw his name in the credits I was pretty excited, but he didn't really get to do much. :(

Of course, if he were that cleaver he wouldn't be qualified for government work. ;)

I guess I'm going to be rather unpopular here. This show is going down very quickly. This episode was way too much like the "A Team."
Let's just take a look at the ridiculous holes in this:
1) A train carrying really dangerous nuclear material would be surrounded with security. They move that material at night and the trains are NOT marked as such.
2) The eventual "explosion" was pitiful. It didn't have enough force to breach the train car, let alone "pollute the entire Southwest" or wherever he said. It would have taken a massive explosion to send that material high enough to be carried by the wind.
3) Maybe my perception of base life is totally out of whack, but would these women REALLY be this involved? Would they have this kind of access to high ranking officers?
4) I'm sorry, but the team figured out EXACTLY how and where the truck was going to be with NO data and no input from the terrorist dude. Please. That was beyond stupid.
I think this one is ready to be deleted from my Tivo...

The mission was fun but lame. They got the info from a series of logical jumps and guesses, then the train itself stopped in a shorter distance than a BMW M3.

Trixie was on LOST this week.

Yeah, that was a little confusing as they had discussed the possibility of just stopping the train in an earlier scene and they said it would tak too long to stop it.

It's still a fun show. Realistic, not really, but I do like it. One thing very NON-A-Team about it is that they actually shoot and kill people. When they stormed the house it was cool to watch as those tactics seemed pretty realistic to me.

To clarify, they said the *proces* of getting approval to stop the train would take too long. By blowing up the track the conductor didn't have a choice.

correct. They weren't talking about the distance needed to stop the train but rather the process of getting approval to stop the train would take too long. It didn't sound too far out to me that a train carrying that kind of cargo would have specially equipped brakes to allow it to stop very quickly. What I didn't like was how slow the train was going.

Wives have more access than you would imagine. Some wives like to wear their husbands rank as well. It is not unrealistic for a wife to go see the COL.
