I recall hearing something about their relationship not too long ago, but I'm surprised by how serious they are, having not heard about it in the usual celbrity gossip manner (a la TomKat). IIRC, they've done a pretty good job of keeping quiet about the whole thing. Good for them.

She could do a lot betterAhhh, superficiality. Where would our healthy society be without it?
Anyway, I wonder if Driveshaft will play the reception and what they're wedding song will be ... :D

She really could do a lot better and I don't think it's superficial to say so.

Wow... He did well. Nice to see his fame and money from LOTR didn't go to waste. That is some prime arm candy/seat cover material.

From a woman's point of view, I don't think it's right to say that she could do a lot better. Dominic is cute and charming, and most of us girls don't like men who are prettier than we are. There aren't too many instances of stunning woman marries gorgeous man (a la Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie, although they're not yet married); seems that stunning woman marries funny, charming, likeable man are a bit more common (a la Anne Bancoft/ Mel Brooks--sorry for the old example).

I like them both. I am glad they found happiness. Too bad it won't last problably in our world of high turnover relationships.
If it does end, she can come stay with me. I'm not pretty but I got a big heart and it ever be about money since I have none.

True. I've always believed that my personal extreme poverty should not be a hinderance.

Thanks for the woman's point of view. The comment "She could do better." can't be based on anything but looks, and is therefore absolutely superficial. Those claiming it's not don't have a leg to stand on. While Dominic may not be an uber-hunk in the looks department, he's not exactly a troll or a baboon and he's smart, successful, financially set for life, funny, and popular. So, to say "she could do better" in the looks department: Yep. Superficial!
I'm happy for them. Wish them all the best! :)
Oh, and BTW:
Greetings from Covington to Thibodaux, McFruchey! :) <waves>

If by much better you mean me, then I agree.
And she can still do me, I mean do better with me if she wants. I will not hold this against her.

What's the average length of a real-life marriage between two actors on the same television show? And how does that compare to the average length of a marriage amongst two people in the general population?
