Couple of quick questions if I may.

Removed question about Tytools

2. If not, what is involved with changing the Airnet over to a Turbonet / Cachecard, and would this work better.

Thanks in advance for any help.

My config (if this helps).

Linksys WRT54G running DD-WRT v23 SP2 (09/15/06) std
Upgraded to two 120GB Samsung Drives (in the Tivo)
TivoWeb etc installed and working (so I know Airnet is configured correctly)

Extraction is a topic not permitted here unfortunately. You'll need another forum which we're not permitted to talk about.

Chances are though, if you know about AirNet and TyTools you know the 'deal'.

OK, sorry didn't realise about tytools not being a subject that is allowed on this forum (I'll edit my first post and take that out).

In that case, with regards to my second question, what's involved in moving from Airnet to Turbonet / Cachecard. Can I just install the drivers using telnet and then swap the cards? Or do I need to go through the same routine of taking the disks out and installing them via a PC and a boot CD?

Cheers,

Paul.

Can I just install the drivers using telnet and then swap the cards? Yes, use the "native upgrade" files and instructions from www.silicondust.com/forum

blindlemon,

Thanks for the information. Another quick question (sorry if it's a dumb one). Will this remove the existing Airnet drivers, or is there a seperate method for this?

Thanks,
Paul.

It will replace them.

blindlemon,

Thanks again. Best splash some cache (pun intended) on a new card then.

Paul.
