Problems w/2.3a on windows media edition 2005?

2.3a works fine on my Win XP notebook, but when I put it on my server (XP Media center 2005) it can see both tivos and the tivos can see it, but I can't transfer.

It's the deluxe edition (now angry I paid $25....)

I get a message that an existing connection was forceably closed by the remote host.

What is up with that?

No firewall sw on the server.
One tivo on static IP, one on DHCP

files transfer with no porblem on notebook.

oh, and I can browse the tivos from the server (https) with no problem but when I transfer I get a message that "an internal error occurred in the microsoft internet extensions"

Hey I must have had my head stuck in the sand, how do I log into my S2? It asks for a login and password when I try.
