Yet another 7.3.1 bug.
With the TiVo guy missing the white LED on the front of my 540 is blinding me.
Anyone know what kind of adhesive will hold him on until the next update?

Well, you could always turn the light off under Settings.

I need the light on so I won't bump into something during that early morning bathroom trip.

cover it with something SEMI-dark, so it will light up but not be blindin.
my guy fell off this summer during a heat wave

Mine fell off early on and I turned the light off in the settings.

I'd recommend scuffing the plastic just a little before gluing him back on. Mine continued to fall off even after supergluing until I did that. He hasn't budged since.

I didn't have an option of "little TiVo guy" in my drop down box.

Just tell him not to give up but to keep trying. Maybe he needs to go to more meetings. Suggest to him to try 30 meetings in 30 days.

The Tivo reps had a bag full of these guys at the Con in Vegas in June. I grabbed a few of them. The guy on my 80 HR one is fine, but my newer 140 hr, the fell off too. I sent a couple guys to some others on this board (I'm finding this is a common occurrence), and luckily kept one for myself. Not long after, the guy fell off mine. He has since been replaced, but I feel your pain about the light streaming thru the hole.

A little dab of silicone sealant stuck my Tivo Guy back on. That white spot of light was driving me crazy, too!

Darn it,
Why can't Tivo just sell you a Tivo Guy for say $3.00 or something. I loaned my Tivo to my Sister in law for a few months. Tivo guy fell off to never be seen again. :(
I just somehow feel incomplete without my Tivo guy, I guess I could try making one with Shrinky Dinks or something, but I'm a typical American and would just rather buy one.
