I'm stuck ...

So far I've: transferred video from TiVo to PC - run file through VideoReDo - output .VOB file - changed file extension from .VOB to .MPG - created .ISO image using DVDStyler - now what?

I'm trying to use DVDFab Decrypter to burn the DVD but when I go to get the Source file and choose the folder containing the .ISO file it won't show up in the Source field. I also don't see how to burn using DVDFab Decrypter. I've only ever used it to decrypt commercial DVDs (to back up my personal discs).

Can anyone help?

Well, let's see, so far you've:

* Outlined your efforts at video extraction, which is not supposed to be discussed here, and

* You've admitted to possessing DeCSS-based software, and to using the same to "decrypt commercial DVD's" in a public forum.

Not that I have a problem with either of those things, but Good God, man, I sure hope there's no way to track your identity back from this site.

You can burn the .iso to a DVD with any DVD burning software. ImgBurn is freeware that does a good job.

I'm just trying to figure out how to burn my TiVo files to DVD - there isn't anything illegal about that! There are several threads on this board outlining how to do it - how do you think I found out about VideoReDo and DVDStyler? (I got a lot of info from the "How to Save Tivo to DVD" thread - which is 6 pages long. If that kind of discussion were not allowed I think the thread would have been removed before it got to 6 pages.)

As for the commercial DVDs - I never said I was making copies for redistribution - simply backing up my own discs. I'm pretty sure that's not illegal either.

I got it to work with Nero. It's playing fine on my computer - now I just have to test it on my stand-alone DVD player. Thanks for the help!

Actually it sounds like he used TiVoToGo, which is a legitimate function of the TiVo software.

I did use TiVoToGo AND TiVo Desktop Plus. Thanks for validating my post.

BTW - I'm a she - not a he. (No offense taken.)
