What? No thread yet?

Things are starting to roll.

Lester's like a bloodhound, determined to find Marlo's bodies.

Prez is starting to make connections with the kids.

Marlo's joining Gansterz R Us.

Royce puts his game face on only to absorb a vicious left hook from the ward leader.

Carcetti's really believing in his chances now. His assistant is a riot. the "Wait until he turns the corner, wait..., wait..., NOW!" bit was funny as hell.

Rawls changes horses in the middle of the stream.

He's not special dead. He's just dead.

That's the only thing really bothering me. From what we've seen of Lester over the years I can't believe he wouldn't have tried the abandoned houses.

I can believe it. Seems like the implication is, no one really realizes what's going on in that neighborhood except the people living there (also demonstrated by the scene with carcetti and the local woman). I think mcnulty probably has a small idea of the neighborhood and the squeaky voiced cop that knows all the kids' names probably has the best idea. If they ask him where the bodies might be, maybe he'll come up with the idea.

But right now I'm leaning towards the remorseful kid telling prezbo.

Yeah, I think that Carver might hear some mention of the bodies. He has started to interact with the people on the street, just as Bunny urged him to last season. Lets see if it pays off.

What was Randy paid to do outside the bathroom doors? I mised that part.

Threesome. The guy needed him to watch the door so he could go in and have sex.

And that girl really looked ashamed when she walked out.

Yeah, especially the scene where they're standing in front of the boarded-up building, wondering where the bodies are. I actually was tempted to yell at the screen, "TURN AROUND, LESTER!"
And that girl really looked ashamed when she walked out.
Really? She looked bored to me...

Things are starting to speed up.

I'm suprised that Lester hasn't thought of the empty houses.

Rawls wants to stay in power so he will play both sides if he has to....

I hope Omar goes crazy on Marlo. Like Rambo in the hood style...

Did Bubbs say that if the tables were turned, he'd have let Sharrod get whaled on too because that's the way the streets worked? I'd like to think Bubbles would have at least done something.

It will be interesting to see what happens if Omar actually gets put in jail. There are a lot of people in there that have a score to settle with him.

Heh. I'm flashing back to the Hellblazer story-line where John Constantine got thrown in jail.

(Jail didn't win...)

I didn't interpret it quite like that. I interpreted it more like... "the way things work in the street, you never know who's going to get beat up or when. If you had been fighting him there wouldn't be much I could do about it. That's why you should avoid putting yourself into situations like that..."
