Here's a question for which I think I know the answer is NO, but had to ask anyway...
I work in a large Metro Hospital in which we have our own TV distributions system for all patient rooms and other areas of the Institution. We have Direct TV, and about 20 of the channels are re-modulated to different channels so that there isn't interference from over-the-air broadcasts. So channel 4 is on 18, 7 is on 20, 13 is on 22, etc.
Obviously, this isn't a lineup that TiVo will know, but is there a way to manually set up a line up? Or has anyone made some kind of converter box that would translate TiVo commands to a channel changer box? TiVo says go to CH 4 and this converter would tell the changer to go to 18....
Our Video Department wants to get a TiVo for recordings that are requested by various departments and rather than rely on the old technology of remembering what to record when, wanted to use TiVo.
We can't get a separate antenna - we're on the first floor of a 22 story building, so the cost/benefit wouldn't be there.
Any thoughts?
