Can you hook a USB cable from your TiVo to your computer to dowload the guide data? :confused:

Not sure why you would want to do this, but TiVo gets its guide data from Zap2it.com. You could just go there and view it, or view it on TiVo's TCO website. There might be programs that would capture that information as well.

Well, I already have the USB cable, and it's cheaper than buying a wireless network adapter. I don't have a phone line because I only use my cell.

I'm hoping that if I connect it to my computer via USB it can download the guide data via my computer's internet connection.

You would have to connect an approved usb to wired adapter that would hook to your PC. Then you would have to setup internet sharing on your PC. It would only be about $10 cheaper to do it that way and it would be a major pain.
