OTA observation

Here's something that I have noticed since my HR10 upgrade to 6.3a.

Whenever I tune an OTA station I see a momentary flash of the "search for signal" banner.

I suspect that this is because the system is now faster and the message is displayed before the tuner can lock on.

This isn't a problem, just wondering if others have seen this?

Yes.
Noticed it right after I got the upgrade.

I 2nd your notion as to the cause,
it's been happening since day one, but the old version was so slow, we never got a chance to see it before.

I'm only seeing it when surfing, I've yet to see it on a recording.
In fact, the recordings seem to be starting a little later, couple of seconds, then they used to.

Have also seen it and was thinking something was wrong.

Depending
on signal it seems. I almost don't notice the banner when switching to 480 content. 720 content seems to be displayed for a half second or so with 1080 taking even longer. Annoying, but not the biggest OTA problem I have experienced. If I watched more live TV, I think it would be a lot more bothersome...
