I have a Sony Series 1 w/ Lifetime subscription and Turbonet card. I also added a 120 GB hard drive 3 or 4 years ago. The thing was activated Feb-2001 and I still use it today.
It is getting old, and while it still works, I'm thinking it may be time to get rid of this one and get a new one.
Is this worth anything with the lifetime subscription?

You can get a couple hundred bucks easy on ebay.
Or you can transfer the Lifetime to a new S3.

No, it's pretty worthless. I'll take it off your hands for you and pay for shipping.
...
jk. You can get a good price off of Ebay for the box.

I just sold exactly what you're describing last week for $375 on eBay.

Yeah, pretty close to worthless. If you're lucky, maybe you'd get $100 on ebay. I'm pretty generous, though, and will give you $120. ;) ;) ;)

Now some of you wouldn't be trying to take advantage of my good nature would you? ;)

Depending on how you market it, the value is between $200 and $350 IMHO.
One fellow just collected $500 on eBay by levering the VIP offer. He offered to handle all the details and pay the $200 fee to tivo. So his NET was about $300 and he never sold any hardware.

A tubronet sold last month for $50 and a CacheCard is for sale right now around $60.
An unsubbed upgraded box is worth about $75.
Selling it as a complete unit will likely get you about $200 - $300. The prices on lifetimed sa1 seem to have been unpredictable lately (certainly due to the VIP offer). Expect them to drop over the next few weeks as the pool of people willing to take the plunge on the VIP offer drops off.
