How to automatically record season & series premieres?

So how to setup a wishlist to catch all season & series premieres? I read the FAQs and "Advice from a Veteran" and tried the various suggestions but none of them yielded good results. I tried wishlists with "Pilot", "Premiere", etc. in them and no decent matches were found.

I am spoiled with ReplayTV having Zones channels for Season & Series premieres - equivalent to wishlists for just that purpose. I can then select "Find All Episodes" and see all upcoming Season & Series premieres without having to go look it up manually, so planning ahead is so easy. Then upon finding any I like I can setup season passes easily from the list of matches. I can continue using the ReplayTVs for this task I suppose, but would be nice to do it from the S3 to setup the HD season passes.

I don't see any way of doing this easily with Tivo. Guru guides looked promising but not sure they are really useful.

Any suggestions?

The standalone Tivos don't have the same categories available as do the DirecTivos.

Right now, there is no easy way to do what you want to do on a Series 3.

Right now, there is no easy way to do what you want to do on a Series 3. That's what I feared... Seems like the DirecTivo guides are far superior as they can also do HD only wishlist matches. Another negative for the Tivo SA I guess...
