Finding QAM List While Waiting For Cable Card?

I have purchased a new TV and a Series 3 and I'm waiting for the Comcast guy to show up next Saturday (that's the first time they could come with Cable Cards when I'm home).

So I've been messing around and I can pick up all sorts of stuff that must be what you guys are referring to as QAM (fun channel numbers like 86.3). I can tell what some of it is, and some I have no idea.

So my question is: does anyone know where I can find a listing of my cable company's QAM channel numbers so I can watch them without having to go through and try to figure out what ever channel is? Some are easy (thanks to their bug) but most aren't.

Your best bet is to look in the locals section over in avsforum.

Barring that, do a channel scan and just work your way through the channels that are found.

You may also be getting some OnDemand channels in the clear QAM, and that might be some of what you were seeing. It's pretty easy to figure them out...sometimes there's programming on them, sometimes not, sometimes pron, and sometimes you can see the subscriber fast-forwarding or rewinding.
