I have unplugged the phone lines to both of my HR10-250's until the reported problems are fixed. How long can the lines be left unplugged without problems? I never buy PPV since I have Netflix, so I don't have any charges to report. I just want to make sure D won't disable my TiVo privileges.
Thanks in advance.

I have had an R10 unplugged for 3 months without any problems at all (other than that damn message every day)
BTW - PPV can be ordered online and delivered without the phone line connected ;)

Before I plugged in to get an upgrade, I believe the last message was no calls had been completed in 279 days. You can leave it unplugged indefinitely without any issues since guide data is retrieved from the bird in the sky.

Anyway to delete all messages at once? I've got hundreds of the "Please make a daily call soon" messages.

Nope, that's why you should do it BEFORE that happens... :D ;)

You can leave it unplugged. My is at around 370 day on my R-1o. Your HR10 should be ok.

No. But you better delete them before too many build up. There have been reports of Tivo crashed due to too many of these messages. Also reports that too many build up and then you can no longer delete any of them.

I plugged mine in yesterday after 614 days. Tried to get the 6.3. No luck. C.R. told me I would get 6.3 on Oct. 19th.
