My Girlfriend phoned me in a panic this evening - a problem with TiVo.
I rushed home (in a move reminscent of rushing to see a dying relative) to find TiVo outputting a flickering, horizontally duplicated image (the duplication was, I presume, due to one field being displayed 'too far over').
I tried putting it into standby but no luck.
The only thing to cure it was a restart (a shame, as I was recording at the time - but the VCR came out of retirement briefly).
It's never done this before and I doubt that it was the HDD. What could have caused it?
Thanks,
Daz
