Hi guys, just had a good look through the prebvious threads, but cant find an answer to my question.
Ive just swapped from NTL to freeview, all working fine through an RF input from the STB.
How can i make tivo accept a SCART input from the freeview box instead?
I selected analogue/digital terrestrial from guided setup.
Cheers

I only ran the guided setup as you have & it worked for me

make sure the scart is plugged into the socket marked TV not AUX on the back of the stb.

Other way round, no?

Freeview box scart (possibly marked TV) to Tivo Aux scart. Tivo TV scart to TV.

d'oh! read as back of tivo, not back of stb... need to pay more attention in future!

all connected fine as the aux butons works fine. Restarted a few times, but live tv always defaults to rf. take the rf lead out of the back of tivo and it gets no signal.
I have deleted all the terrestrial channels from the channels i recvieve.
anyone have any ideas?
cheers

Choose a channel (eg. 80) by typing the number via the remote, then do the same again.
This should force the TiVo to swap from SCART to RF input or v.v.

Thanks for the reply, i tried the above and it just comes back with the blue screen saying "the recoder cannot recieve live tv". if i press the aux button it works fine. A restart does solve it either.
I looked on the system information it said:
Program Source (1): Digital Cable/Digital Terestrial with S....
Source Input (1): Coax RF in, Chan 53
Program Source (2): Aerial only
Source Input (2): Coax RF in
no mention of AUX. The Aux passthrough is working well. I press AUX and get a clean picture of the free box.
I have the freebox plugged into AUX via scart and RF in via coax.
Any other ideas?
Thanks

Redo Guided Setup twice - first time select Aerial Only, then the second time choose the option you have now.
I suspect there is a bug in GS when going from cable on RF to Freeview on AUX directly.
