Just noticed a mention of "BT Vision" on the back of some communication from the venerable telecoms giant. Seems that they're about to bring out a dual freeview PVR with 80 hrs recording, on-demand access to bits of the past 7 days broadcasts & on demand movies & other content, Philips box on an M$ platform. HDMI connector built in too tho apparently no plans for HD at launch.
Allegedly the box will be less than 100 quid, with either a subscription or pay-per view option.
So I guess that'll be marketed to the masses as the Freeview version of Sky+ and it'll sell like hot cakes. If only there were something else like that (only better) around...
