Hi everyone,
Well I bought a series 2 DT and received it yesterday, Tuesday. I ordered it the previous Thursday night. I'm in NW Florida and didn't expect to get it before this Friday. Maybe the power load from the S3 is worked out.
I got it all hooked up and moved my S2 to the bedroom. I have one question regarding channel changing. I have it hooked up through a cable box and from the wall.
When I am on one of the tuners and hit the channel up/down button, it seems to change both tuners to the same channel? Does this make sense? I though that if I was on tuner A and I hit the channel button up or down it would only change that tuners channel? It is changing both tuners at the same time.
I double checked that one tuner is for the cable box and the other for regular cable. I'm a bit confused.
This really isn't that important as we use the guide 99.9% of the time to switch to a different channel. I'm just wondering if it is working correctly or not.
One more question, after I finished guided setup I went to the channel listing and noticed that there are two lines for the same channel. I’m assuming that is because of the dual tuners. But I noticed that the channels for tuner ‘A’ above 100 were not selected and the channels below 100 for tuner ‘B’ were not selected? So I selected all the lower channels on the tuner that didn’t have them selected. I may have answered a question wrong while setting up the channel info. Or is this what everyone else had?
I may still have it set up wrong but just want to make sure.
Oh BTW, the DT is 10 times faster in the menus than my S2.
