I got my S3 going around 1:00 this afternoon. I still can't get anywhere beyond tomorrow at 8:30 pm on the program guide. Is this usual or is it the fact that I haven't activated it yet?

If you force it to call in (messages & settings/settings/phone & network/make daily call now) it will get full data, even before activation.

I've tried that several times now. Through my network, each has been successful.

Just be patient, it has a lot of data to go through and index.

Plus... if it downloaded new software (like it did in my case), you will have to reboot the system before it actually installs and uses it.

I guess I should have been more patient. I'm restarting everything. Screen says it may take an hour to clear everything.

That's me...inpatient.

It can take a full day to fully index all 2 weeks of data.

I got my S3 around lunchtime and it was well into prime time before I could see past 2 days out. This was with just off-air. I can just imagine the wait with a cable lineup!

It can take around 24 hours to get the full 2 weeks worth of data.

I forget where I read that... think it was burried in the manual somewhere.

FWIW on the day I posted this and did the delete everything, upon reboot and call it had all data within two hours.
