Flickering Picture

I have an old Tivo. I'm getting a bad picture, duplicate images and flickering. When I bypass Tivo everything is fine. I checked all my connections, turned it off for a while, unplugged the phone connection, but nothing works.

Never mind. I turned off the power for a while and now it seems to work OK.

Hey - mine did this too tonight - a restart solved it. What's caused this?
