I noticed this morning for the first time that LOGOS are sporadically appearing. Note: 6.3 - not 6.3a

Are you saying that there weren't any logos at all in 6.3? Or are they finally getting the ones they need (like TNT, etc)?

Please elaborate. I had no logos BECAUSE I REPLACED THE DRIVE. I thought I would get LOGOS with 6.3 as has been the case with new software releases. I did not.

What is your situation?

OK- sorry to be so vague. I had read that many people here had no logos while running 3.1. I was upgraded to 6.3 the very day it was released - and that's were i am now. (no 6.3a). Well, after the upgrade to 6.3, I still did not have any channel/network logos. This morning, after about two-weeks of running 6.3, I noticed SOME of the logos are now showing up. ABC, NBC, CBS, Disney - etc. I'm hoping they will all be there at some point.

And, I DID NOTHING to finally get these logos. They just started appearing. Go figure!

Excellent, one can only hope the rest of us will experience this. There should have been new LOGOS, but perhaps there is a delayed reaction this time.

The first phone call after the upgrade to 6.3 should download new logos.

Yes. I had to reboot to get them to show up however.

Just curious - anyone that has a local CW &/or MNT affiliate, are you getting new logos for these networks on your units? On all my units, the old WB & UPN logos were all pulled from those channels, but were NOT replaced with any new logos.

I'm sure a couple of my older receivers may NOT be able to get new logos, but maybe newer receivers can.

Neither my CW nor my My Network TV have icons associated with them at the moment on 6.3a (manual install) or my 3.1.5f box.

Got my LOGOS now. Don't know if it was the reboot or that I got 6.3A last night.

My 6.3 box was updated to 6.3a last night, but I still have no logos for SPIKE, UHD or my local CW (formerly WB11) affiliate. I remember losing the SPIKE logos at some point while I still had 3.15.

Anyone have a similar experience? TIA.
