Anyone in Indy having digital breakup on CBS 8.1. Either digital or HD..I get breakup on tuners that register 92 and 93 for signal strenght. No problem with other OTA stations. This happens on all programs, either recorded or live. Anyone have and ideas as to solution.
Thanks, Newguy101

Yes. Same experience. HD Tivo, Signal in the low 90's. Especially noticeable during the Colts game yesterday.

Discussed this at lunch today with a co-worker (who does not have a HD Tivo) and he's seeing the same thing.

Since WISH broadcasts on VHF (Channel 9), I wonder if that is the problem?

Yes, I've had the same problem. Started about two weeks ago.

I have posted a link to this thread over in avsforum. There have been quite a few posts already about the same problem in avsforum. It seems to have started around the 1st of September. One of the WISH Engineers posts regularly in avsforum so hopefully we will get an answer.

Here is the repsonse from WISH on this problem:

I just haven't seen any kind of problem here, but I've been looking since I got back from vacation. Our transmitter guy checked the signal we're putting out, and the RF is immaculately good. We'll probably reboot our encoder and multiplexer to be on the safe side, but I watch HD here in my office and it's the same as it's been for years.

At home, things are a little different, my set-top box is out for a new front end, following a lightning strike very near the house. I have a temporary set-up, but it's a major PITA to use, and an SAF* of zero. But when I can watch HD, it seems fine.

Folks with problems seem to all be DirecTV Tivo users - is this correct? What model and software version are the devices?
