I had an installation tech tell me that the 10-250 (with version 3 software at the time) would have trouble detecting satellite 2 if it were not active on power up, and that to resolve the issue I would need to restart the receiver. At the time, I dismissed this as nonsense. However, today I noticed that my receiver was having trouble finding satellite 2 (I was doing some rewiring). So I cycled power and sure enough, it resolved the problem.
Has anyone else noticed this before? And if so, what could be causing it? Finally, more importantly, is it resolved in 6.3?
