Is there a network setting on a Series 2 DVR with Tivo ? I can only find the phone under settings . If it is there, can you tell me EXACTLY where?

Not on a DirecTV TiVo, USB ports are useless.

Not out of the box anyway, check the "underground" forums.

FYI for the past year there's been an easy method to activate the USB port and turn on all the extra stuff - it's called Tivo Zipper support (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=265929)
