Pretty good season premire. I liked how they wrapped up the story from the finale last year. I have to admit, for a minute I thought Andrea was going to turn out to be alive. I thought maybe she wasn't leaving the show after all. I'm gonna miss her though, but I like this professor guy. I kinda got the vibe that something might happened between him and Melinda this season. Not that I want her and Jim to split up, but she might be spending a lot of time with him and they could grow closer which could cause some drama there.
I'm really looking forward to the season :)

They fooled me on this "not dead, but in a coma" thing too. I will miss her too, was kinda hoping that she'd stick around as some kind of earth-bound friend, but it looks like it's all going a little darker than that, so had to let her go.
This episode scared the crap out of me, I have to admit. I am really tired, but there's NO WAY I'm going to bed until I've had several hours of lighter shows first. I was too afraid to take a break to go in the other room. I'm not a fan of scary stuff anymore (used to love it, guess I'm getting old), so I hope they don't keep up this direction of story for too many of the episodes.

That wasn't nice to tease the people that didnt see that other show she is on this year, giving them hope she's still on here.
the guy getting hit totally sucked. I thought we found a nice peaceful ghost show with no car crashes to watch :) oh well
that hubby sure is a saint. Him and the hubby from Medium need to get together and exchange stories

Anyone think that Mitch might become a regular? Say a new store partner for Melinda?

I was thinking either Mitch or the professor guy will most likely become a regular. I really like the professor guy, but I can't remember his name.

The professor guy (played by Jay Mohr) is supposed to be a regular.
There's a new regular that we haven't seen yet. I won't spoil that for you.

please tell me how she makes any money since no one is literally watching the store now?

Did the guy that got hit by the car upset anybody like it did me? I figured that he was going to turn out to be somebody important who knows something about what is going on (maybe another occult researcher or something) and that is why he was so anxious to get to her, but judging by the preview for next week, he is nothing more than an old boyfriend of hers.

I'm not sure how much she relies on the money from the store. As much as she seems to be able to step away from it and seems to keep whatever hours she needs, I think it is more of a hobby of hers. I imagine the store is self-sufficient, but I think that they may live on her husbands income.

Last season they were talking about expanding the business into the store next door because they vacated. The business appeared to be doing quite well.

I was glad to see this show back on after a great season finale!
In the beginning when they did the whole Andrea isn't dead, she's in a coma, it ticked me off. It was soooo cheesy. Glad it wasn't true. Andrea looked so freaky throughout the show though.
I didn't like Jay Mohr (the professor). Isn't he a comedian? I didn't find him funny at all, even though it looked like he was supposed to be funny with some one liners.

Yeah, he's a comedian and used to host Last Comic Standing, which wasn't his best stuff either. I'm not sure how funy he's supposed to be on this. There've been a couple of off-beat humor moments, but I'm hoping that they were meant to fall as flat as they did, as a character flaw of his...

Yeah! Where is Homer? Bring him back! Everybody should have a ghost pet.

Maybe he crossed over with the big group of people at the end of last season...?

a star on 2 shows isn't unheard of this year though.

I think that as they play out Jay Mohr's character we'll see he's the right fit for the character, I think he's suppose to have a dry sense of humor that some people may not find funny.
I was VERY disturbed by the car crash. I even sat in my chair watching and made a nice sucking in air noise and clasped my hand over my mouth. It was a shocking scene.
I'm sad Andrea is gone, wish they hadn't have written her out of the show.... *mourn*
