Go ahead and Zipper and Upgrade?

Ok I was zippered and when the update was going to come out I put my original drive back in. The questions is should I go ahead and zipper it so I can install the update or just what for the new one to come down... If I have bugs I could always put the prezippered drive back in... Any Suggestion. Thanks
