clock flickers?

Has anybody else notice the clock on the front display flickers when it repaints the new time? I keep catching it out of the corner of my eye and it's annoying :(

Yep, flickers on mine too.

Sorta reminds me of the alarm clock I had as a kid where those little panels would flip down every time a digit changed... :D

I can barely see it from where I sit. For a component targeted at the big screen theater crowd, it has a pretty small/anemic display.

I miss the clock display of the cable dvr already.

Mine's at chin-height in a rack at the back of the room, you walk past it to get anywhere in the house. Not that I actually care. I have a nice (large) analog wall clock for the purposes of readily visible chronomatic matters. :)

Hey, I could give a RIP what the front panel display does/looks like/flickers....blah blah...as long as the S3 does what it's supposed to do. And it DOES...MAGNIFICENTLY!!

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thinks the clock display is too small. I'm 8-10 feet away from the unit, and it's hard to see. Especially since changing the display to "bright" only makes it bright briefly, then it goes away until keys are pressed on the remote.

The first time I saw the clock "flip" like it does when the minute changes, I thought my TiVo was freaking out. Still a bit distracting.
