Is this a Comcast issue, CableCARD issue, or a TiVo issue?
When I change channels, occasionally I will get a situation where I get about 3-5 seconds of video/sound, then the sound stops and video continues for 1/2 second, then the screen goes blank.
I can switch channels and go back to that original channel and everything is hunky dory again.
Sometimes it happens when changing channels directly (i.e., keying in the channel number instead of using the channel up/down button).
I have Comcast with Motorola CableCARDs installed. My EMM count is 0 (I don't subscribe to any premium content), and I can access all channels I'm supposed to (HDTV, digital, etc.). This occurs on all channels and occurs with about 1 in 20 channel changes.
I'm trying to figure out who I should report this to as a bug. Should I reinitialize my CableCARDs? (I fear doing that -- fear I'll lose reception all together.) Should I report it to TiVo?
