1. For some reason once in a while Ill only be able to see channels 1 - 29 and as soon as I reboot it it works fine thats happened about 3 times since monday.

2. 4 times since monday the tivo has sad it was recording some thing and later when I go to watch it noting was recorded the names on there like it was record but no audio or video. All were HD movies on cable channels.

3. I recored Jericho on cbs last night and the office/my name is earl on nbc tonight and they had glithes in them earl/office were so bad I couldent even watch I just had to delete it. Jericho was not that bad but still a pain i the ass.

Please help I love the series 3 whens its working but I am starting to feel like a dumb ass spending $1000.

Thanks
Joe

Problems 1&2 sound like CableCARD issues. #3 I have no idea.

Check your signal strength; if you're seeing tiling/freezing and sound issues, that's a digital transport problem (errors in the digital data stream, caused by noise on the line,) likely related to poor cable signal strength.

Can there be problems caused by TOO MUCH signal?

Comcast is the only one who can do anything about CableCARD issues. It sounds like they aren't registered properly. TiVo support can get on the phone with you if you run into a roadblock, but the unit shouldn't behave that way with properly installed and configured cards.
