Sorry for the long description, but D* is not helping me much in diagnosing this...

I currently have an H10-250 with the 3.x system installed (still no 6.x upgrade for me yet)

I have subscriptions to MLB and (superfan) NFL season passes. Around 2 months ago, my MLB stations (733-746) were showing "No program information available" in the program guide. Called D*, and all they did was make me turn power down, and wait 24 hours for the data to stream in.

That worked, and the same thing happened a few weeks later, with the same resolution and same outcome.

Next, the NFL season kicked in, and then I occasionally lost future programming for those channels (700-725). Called D*, same resolution (reboot and wait a few hours for the index to rebuild).

Last Friday we did this, and the program data for Sunday's football showed up. I am a dad, so I don't watch any TV during the day, and I had everything teed up for a nice 8pm viewing of the Bears game, when lo and behold, nothing had been recorded (argh). Sure enough, I noticed that once again my MLB stations were showing up with "No program information available", and no future games were showing up in the guide. I went back to the settings menu and in one of the options saw that the NFL games had been attempted to be recorded, but failed due to our antennas not being recognized (or something similar, I usually see that when it rains). In this case we definitely had clear skies all day.

So now I am living a crap-shoot on anything I want to record in advance, and have these options:

1. Tough it out and just check by hand during gametime that it is indeed recording (not always easy for me to do that)

2. Do #1, and cross fingers that the 6.X update solves

3. Order an HR-20...

Oddly enough this seems to only be the case for the MLB and NFL listings, and sometimes (like today), they manage to come back. One of the D* support folks thought it might be due to a weak sat signal and we ran through all the options and he thought some of my signals were a bit weak, but generally my HD channels show up without problems (except when it rains).

Anyone else running into this kind of stuff, or what would you do? (and I hope I haven't over-described my smptoms.. ) Thanks for any help
