Lots of shows are getting on the bandwagon and providing enhanced content online - Webisodes, blogs, games, talk shows, etc...
For example - I just discovered that Amazing Race has a talk show called Finish Line. And Jericho has a small webisode of a different story line. How I Met Your Mother has Barney's Blog. And then there is Lost, which has podcasts and websites that provide clues.
What shows do you think have the best enhanced content? Perhaps we could even start a directory of these shows...
I'll start with a few I know of...
Amazing Race [Finish Line (http://www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race10/finish_line/)]
Grey's Anatomy [Grey Matter - Blog (http://www.greyswriters.com/)] [Emerald City Bar (http://www.emeraldcitybar.com/)] [The Nurse's Station (http://www.seattlegracegossip.com/)]
Jericho [Webisode (http://www.cbs.com/primetime/jericho/digital/)]
NCIS [Pauley's Blog (http://www.cbs.com/primetime/ncis/blog.php)]

Barney's Blog hasn't been updated since last season. The intern who ghosted it must have moved on.

That's funny because they mentioned his blog during the season premiere. You would think if you are going to tell people to look at his blog that they would update it. More likely they just used an old CBS.com promo from last year.

I never really followed them, but Grey's Anatomy has a trio of blogs, 1 written from the perspective of the writers and 2 fictional ones from characters (nurses, the bar tender) of the show:

I prefer my TV to be complete there - on TV. For the most part, I ignore "enhanced content" on the internet, though I did check out Barney's blog yesterday, just long enough to see that it was old content.

Dwight Schrute has a blog called schrutespace.com. It's written by the actor who plays him.
There's also a Dunder-Mifflin company newsletter but it doesn't get updated very often.

Both The Office and Battlestar Galactica had webisodes this summer. BSG's are still ongoing.

I watch my tv on the tv. Enhanced content on the web is work.

I don't watch TV to then have to go to my computer. I've never visited any of these enhanced content sites and never will.
It's really annoying on MTV Cribs - "HOLD UP, HIPSTERS! Check out more of this sick pad at mtv.com" = FFWD X 4.

I've pretty much decided that I'm not going to waste my time on the "enhanced content." If something is pertinant to the story line, it will be on tv. Everything else is kind of like all the Star Wars novels that are out that aren't written by George Lucas.

I tried following the Lost forums and websites for a couple of weeks but it's too much like home work.

ABC news has enhanced content. They say go to ABC.com or whatever the URL is to get more of an interview or more information. I guess when I get my wifi set up I could just keep a computer next to me in the living room. I prefer my TV complete.
