New S2 DTivo, needs zipper for MRV?

I have a new DSR704 DTiVo that I am just itching to hook up & use, but if I intend to use MRV on it, do I need to Zipper it? If I'm understanding correctly, MRV is not enabled by default, right?

Well you don't NEED to Zipper it but you definitely need to hack the Tivo because the USB port and MRV aren't enabled by default. I think the Tivo Zipper is the simplest method to hack a Tivo.
