S2 Dual Tuner TIVO question

If I have digital cable and require a digital cable box to get all my channels, how can I make use of the dual tuners? do I need to order a second digital cable box and hook it up to the other tuner? 2 boxes AND the tivo all crammed into my home theater cabinet?

did you read the setup guide? It covers it there. Short story is with one cable box you can record digital channels on one tuner and the analog channels on the other tuner. So it's not full dual tuner for all digital channels.

In case you haven't tried it, go ahead and hook your cable straight into a cable-ready TV or VCR, without the cable box, and see what you get.

I'm guessing you'll still get the first 100 channels or so. Usually they're still analog.
