Seems people who ordered after the first VIP offer day have received shipping/tracking info...and I've seen a claim of an S3 or two as well now.

But, it really seems those of us who were "early adopters" to the VIP invite got the rugs pulled out fron under us somehow.

So, I'd like to know, if you ordered your S3 via the TIVO VIP website on 9/12, did you get any shipping/tracking info, and did you receive any S3 yet?

Ordered 5pm on Tuesday, ground shipping. Got the order confirmation email right away. Nothing until this past Sunday night and then it just shows that apparantly someone manually re-entered it on 9/14. They also swapped my shipping and billing address. That's all I've gotten so far - no shipment email or anything else. Called Tivo CSR - no luck and no S3. :mad:

I was an early adopter (12th in the AM). It came today (it was refused, but it came).

I ordered on 9/12. UPS left it in Philly so it should be here tomorrow. Not a big deal at this point.

I've received a second order confirmation, but no tracking information yet. The lack of communication is making my frustration grow exponentially... though I still don't know how much further it has to grow before I give up on TiVo. At least I can keep using my S2, knowing that my "evil" lifetime subscription is just sucking money from the company. :^)

I ordered mine on 9/12 pm through vip and only recieved order confirmation and another confirmation today. Still waiting for shipment. I wasn't going to refuse my tivo at first until I changed my mind today. I took advantage of circuit city's 10% off offer and saved $100 ($913 from tivo compared to $809 from circuit city). Plus I get $35 in reward points.


Although if my tivo comes on or before the circuit city's tivo, I will probably take accept the tivo from tivo and return the one I got from CC. (it's much easier and a lot less worry to return in CC since they allow for in store returns.

I ordered mine on the 12th in the late afternoon. Earlier today I received a confirmation email, but no shipping information. I've talked to two different phone reps and they are now saying that my TiVo has not shipped at all yet. I had a cable install scheduled for tomorrow morning that I have now had to move to Friday morning.

The second person I talked to was a bit of an ass. He saw that I had called earlier today and he said that I "had to just wait until the shipping email goes out" and to basically stop calling.

The first person I spoke to today said that ALL orders on the 12th got screwed up in one way or another which is why our confirmation emails say ordered on the 14th.

All of the stores in my area are sold out of S3s, so buying retail isn't even an option for me. I just have to wait until it shows up. It had better be by Thursday though so I don't have to reschedule the cable install again.

I ordered on the 12th (UPS ground shipping), got shipping notification on the 16th, and will be getting it (and technically on time) tomorrow.
