Particularly in the Evansville, IN, area?
I've had two S2's running for a while, but when I purchased my Sony HDTV last December, couldn't resist signing up for Insight's HD-DVR so I could not only watch the available HD content, but record it as well. Needless to say, the user interface for the Motorola box sucks, but I've managed to get along with it.
Now that the S3 is out, I'm soooooo tempted to plunk down the dineros for that box. I called the Evansville Insight office to ask if they had Cable Cards available...I'm not convinced that the person on the other end of the line really knew what I was talking about, but she did say that they were available for $1.95/mo as long as I kept a digital box in the house. Not a problem - I'll just keep the standard digital box for one of my S2's, dump the HD DVR and install an S3 in its place.
But I'm curious...has anyone with Insight digital cable service setup and S3 and had the Cable Cards installed? How did it go?
Thanks in advance!
