I am officially pissed now, I just got a second confirmation email with todays date on it as the order date, this is total BS. I am calling right now to get this canceled.

Canceled? You want to cancel your order? HAHA! I actually laughed at that one. You must have missed our many posts how CSR's are unable to cancel our orders.

To help prevent this problem in the future, you may want to file a complaint with the FTC since as best I can tell, refusing to cancel an order when there is a delay in shipment is a direct violation of federal law.

Don't worry I will be, this is absolutely rediculious. Thankfully I have a Series 3 in my family room waiting to be opened, so that limits my rage to just high and not through the roof.

My complaint has been submitted! Hopefully they clean up their act. Either way they still refuse to cancel my order, when I called this morning they wouldn't even pull up my order, they simply said they won't cancel an order once it is in the system!

I've also filed a complaint with the BBB of Silicon Valley.

Does not seem odd at all. Due to all the this talk their lawyers have probably told them not to say a word.

You are probably correct.

Besides, Tom Rogers (TiVo's CEO) has a law degree from Columbia. I'm sure he's smart enough to figure this one out on his own.

Do you think they've even received the complaints yet?
