Signature Required

I was sold the same story the rest of us were sold that we were supposed to get our Series 3 on Friday and I took the day off of work.

I was not able to take the day off today and the unit is supposed to be delivered today.

Does UPS require a signature for the Series 3?

Report in various threads is that they do require signature. UPS should leave notice on your door, and you can call them and reschedule delivery or have them hold it and go pick it up yourself.

Mine was just delivered, and no signature was required.

Just found out UPS delivered and left my package on the door step.

I've had that happen many times. A $1000 item and they leave it at the door. A $10 item(literally) and they won't release it without a signature.

Maybe when you get home you can tell UPS "It wasn't in front of my door". Then all of us can tell you Merry Christmas on your Second Tivo! lol
