TWP upgraded to 1.3.1 on Zippered HR10-250 via tweak_uninstall.sh followed by tweak.sh. I get "INTERNAL SERVER ERROR" faults when looking at "To Do" page on ALL tivo's upgraded. I issued an RW command to enable read/write. No help.
I've seen others with this problem - but the threads dry up.. What was done to correct it? Reinstall older versions?
Any help would be great - Thnx

John1980 fixed TWP to work with the lghahn's ui.itcl. I just uploaded it, so you get it by uninstalling/reinstalling. or, go to DDB and get it on the TWP devel. forum.

Just started running the fix via your script (uninstall / install); initially, it looks like the problem is still present on all three here..
Ahhh.. issue RW and it works!
Thanks!!

I haven't updated to 1.3.1. Just updated the ui.itcl module in 1.3.0.

Guys, I'm attempting to install TWP 1.3.1, and when I follow these instructions on the TWP site:
Install the .tar.gz file into a new directory on your tivo, eg,
cd /var/hack
gzip -dc < tivowebplus-1.3.1.tar.gz | tar xf -
This creates directory /var/hack/TivoWebPlus.
I keep getting this response:
tivo:/var/tmp$ cd /var/hack
tivo:/var/hack$ gzip -dc < tivowebplus-1.3.1.tar.gz | tar xf -
bash: tivowebplus-1.3.1.tar.gz: No such file or directory
tivo:/var/hack$
I can ftp the TWP1.3.1 file itself over, but I can't create the above directory and place it into it. What stupid thing am I doing wrong? Or not doing, for that matter?

use "gzip -d tivowebplus-oztivo-xxxxxx.tgz; cpio -idu -H tar < tivowebplus-oztivo-xxxxxx.tar"

Everybody needs to get a laugh every day. Here's you chance today, as late as it is. Is that one big long line, or does the ";" indicate the beginning of a new line. And the five "x"s, do those indicate insert something else, or leave them as "x"s?
Beleive it or not I have hacked five DTivos, and two of them were before the zipper. And I've added other things to them as well. So I am always observing what others are doing. And asking dumb questions when I don't fully understand, which I don't here.
Thanks for the help, and of course not sending me to DDB for the answer. :D

Actually, what I decided to do instead was run rbautch's tweak.sh script, which includes the latest TWP anyway, among other things. Now, however, my problem is that while I was able to telnet using TeraTermPro, FileZilla won't connect for the life of me. It WAS connecting earlier today, but now for some reason I cannot connect at all. I keep getting "Timeout detected! Unable to connect!"

Willard, yes to both: leave the semi-colon there if you want to write it as one line, or remove it, hit "enter" at that point, and type out the rest and hit enter again. It's two commands in one line. And the xxxxx's are where you'd put in the version number from John1980's site.
FWIW, that line is ripped right from his instructions. :)
